WELCOME TO ‘THE FIG TREE’
The Fig Tree is one part of a group called ‘The Nathanael Club’, the other part of the group is called ‘Oremus’.
‘Fig Tree’, in the main, is a vehicle for Adult Formation in scripture and Liturgy.
‘Oremus’ (Let us pray) is the vehicle for praying with scripture, similar to directed prayer but at group level.
The club began in Lent 2010 and met in the conference room at Mount Zion House Lurgan, all current members are from the various parishes in Lurgan Deanery and there is no restriction on membership which is free. Due to good development work on Parish resources in Moyraverty we hope that by Advent 2011 we will have a permanent location for presentations and prayer.
