LITURGY OF THE MASS
You have all probably heard a great deal about the new order of the Mass and the English translation.
Beginning on the first Sunday in Advent 2011 the Catholic Church in Ireland will adopt the new English translation of the Mass as will the Catholic Communities of the British Isles, America, Canada, South Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
In Moyraverty Parish, to prepare ourselves for this change in our Liturgy there will be an ongoing series of presentations during the period after Pentecost, 12 June 2011, until, 26 November 2011.
These presentations will be designed to prepare us for the new liturgy and will take the form of talks, video and powerpoint. We will explore each of the four sections of the mass,

CONCLUDING RITES
With the new order of the Mass read by both priests and congregation. Whilst we are exploring the Mass we will also look at the manner in which we craft the art of our liturgy and how we celebrate the Eucharist.
